Merry Christmas At Heart | Blogmas Day 25

It is the season of the year When all the world is gay; The trees are bare, the skies are drear, But hearts are bright to-day.

The holly and the mistletoe Are decked in festive guise; The children’s eyes are bright with glee, And all the world is wise.

The bells are ringing merrily, The carols loud are sung; The hearts of old and young are glad, For Christmas is at hand.

The poor man’s hearth is bright with fire, The rich man’s table spread; The joy of Christmas is for all, And all are glad to-day.

O Christmas, season of good cheer, Of love and peace and joy, May all the world be glad to see Thy coming every year!

May all the hearts of men be filled With love and brotherhood; May all the world be one great home, And peace on earth be found.

O Christmas, season of the dear And holy memories, May we remember all the year The lessons thou dost teach.

May we remember Him who died For us upon the cross, And may we live our lives so well That we may see His face at last!

Merry Christmas to all! May the joy of this glad season Rest with you all the rest of the year!
